tranny slipping or no?

ok i have noticed this the past few days. i will have it in the correct gear say 2nd and the rpms are about 2500 enough to punch it and go (atleast most the time) but sometimes it will go for a second then the rpms will start stuttering around 3000 feeling like i have the car in 6th gear or so. it does this once in awhile. i recently bought the car from a lady it's a 94 z28 6 spd, 373 gear, etc. i dont know if the hypertech programmer has anything to do w/ it or what? it happens once in awhile usually it seems when the engine has warmed up.

Well at first I thought it sounded like maybe a spark plug thing if it feels like you are loosing power/RPMs. But if it only happens in the heat, maybe not. Good luck...
