Which tranny should I got with
hey guys, guess what
when we were installing all the engine part in my sig, we found out I had apparentely destroyed my flywheel and completely ripped my tranny to shreads, cracked and everything
well, I'm about out of money with this current setup, like straight broke.. so
what's my best option for a tranny
should I go with a TH350 or a 700R4, or should I find a used T56 to swap in while I'm there?
what kind of prices should I expect and which ones will bolt right up, any input would be greatly appreaciated... I'm in quite a pickle

The best choices would be a 700R4 or a TKO 600. The TH350 has no overdrive, and the T56 has such an extreme 6th gear it won't be of much use under around 80 mph.
The 700r4 sounds best for you. Maybe $150 for the tranny at the most, and about the same for a rebuild kit with good steels and clutches through summit. Just remember to get a lock-up controller if it has a lock-up convertor.
