i did the th350 swap and when i bought the tranny i was told it has very few miles on it. the person that i bought it from i know and trust so if something is wrong with it i dont think he knew about it. when i am at wide open throttle and com eto my shift point and shift the shifter the tranny does not **** it will hit the rev limiter. as soon i left off the throttle the rpm's start to slow down and then it shifts. oh and the linkage is hook up right and adjusted correctly. is this a valve body problem or a govener problem please help? i bracket race and the track opens this sat.

 

My 94 Z28 does the exact same thing. At 6.600 RPM (redline) it hesitates to shift also. It will stick for a second but it still shifts. I dont know why just know I'm not going to run it that high anymore because of that.

 

now im glad i didnt give up on my 4l60e and put a th350 in it, thats the same problem its having, ilda been real happy if i got a 350 turbo and it did that lmao. good luck fixin it though and lemme know how it turns out cause im still considering a 350 if it turns out alright .. good luck
