But the ES bushing still transfered too much vibes for my nerves to stand. I imagine since I had some DS vibe, even with the stock mount, another driveshaft may have solved a good bit of that vibe problem but I didn't try that.
And, Matt, I know you've seen my solution before but I'll link a picture or two for anyone else with this problem with the ES specs being different than stock causing header clearance and DS angle problems.
And I also eliminated that spacer and it certainly helped, but the vibe thing was still there, although much better.
BTW: I thought you had a source for a different DS. Did that deal not happen?
Spacers 1
Spacers 2
Spacers 3
That didn't seem to work, lets try this one

I am not questioning you guys, I am just trying to figure out what made it like this. I went from a T56 to an A4, and now I am going back to the T56. I want to run the poly mount because of the strength issue. I guess I will just put it back together and see how it goes, maybe I'll get lucky again and have 0 extra vibrations.
The corrective measures included:
"Install alternate propeller shaft,
Part Number 10085375."
That part # would be an aluminum LS1 application type unit and since you replaced the original part with a different one is likely the reason you escaped having an issue with this after your T56 poly mount install.

Not sure why Matt didn't respond back yet, but the reason he went back to the poly mount was he killed the LS1 mount in a really short time, If I recal less then a month or so... So not sure if I would say there was a good comprmise there?

My ES poly mount vibrates alittle but not like you guys are discribing. it sure beats the clucking everytime the tranny hit the floor board thats for sure.

All cars are going to be different. Mine shakes so badly that I can see the floorboards flexing and my passenger seat looks like a space shuttle launch. The dash and every bounces around. Its pretty bad, especially at 65mph+

Yeah I had the LS1 mount in July before I broke the stock tranny....
I'm thinking it may have been my exhaust smacking the floorboard and not the tranny, because afterwards I found one of my hangers was loose.
