Re: tranny limp mode no codes

There is a drivetrain section, and I had a limp mode problem at one point also but mine was caused by my computer OBD-I doesn't like my 3500 stall.

Anyway, nothing has changed but it just started doing this? and shutting it off and restarting the car doesn't get it out of limp mode?

Then it sounds like a tranny problem, but for the most part any of those problems will throw a code. I am prettty sure there is a code for high line pressure and that would definitly cause this problem. You could have some fluid leakage in the tranny too, by that I mean a seal that might be blown that causes pressure bleeding inside the tranny.

if the transmission is brand new should i be concerned that there is already to seal blown, there is no visible leakage around the transmission. it happened after i took a farely long drive approx 40 miles in which the car remained around 80 mphs at approx 3500 rpms.
