My brother just bought an 02 Z 6 speed with 41000 miles on it. he was driving it to school yesterday and his tranny started leaking onto the exhaust. He told me it was a steady drip when he looked at it. today i peeked under it and its leaking from the tail section. there was only a small puddle of fluid under the car after it sat for a day so it must only leak when he drives. the rear seal didnt look like it was leaking so i dont know. it has a hurst shifter in it, so could have the cover seal on that broke and is letting it leak when he drives? where else could it be leaking from? any common problems with this?

 

never mind i fugured it out myself. it was an oil seal where the stick goes into the top of the tranny. it was just torn a little.
