ok guys heres is my situtation my tranny is gone now im going to have it rebuilt and i want the best mods to my tranny done i want the best of everything you can put in this trans i have no idea what kind of mods to do to my tranny,any of you guys have a list or anything that would help me out?? i want my trans to be build for street/strip....any info will help!!.thanks

 

My tranny is being rebuilt at present. I read countless posts and did searches on this forum.I followed a lot of the advice of Frank Cahall from his posts and showed the local shop Franks recommendations. I could not afford to send my tranny to him but certainly will have some of the items done for an upgrade build.

Like it says in my sig I got the Race Rebuild, have had it for over 2 years and more then 12K miles... It has held up great, and performs well, I love it and keep telling guys about it... Suprisingly enough I had a pretty resposive car considering the times I am getting for the mods I have...

If you think about the fact that higher gears and higher stalls make shifts "feel" less abrupt I still have firm/positive shifts with 2.73 gears and 3500 stall, I'd say he did a good job with the custom shift kit...
