Hehehe, I'm not sure weather this is a tranny problem or engine I have a 94 LT1 with an auto tranny. In first gear it will not shift into second when I have the pedal to the floor. It feels like the engine is hitting the rev limiter at 5500 rpm. The problem seems to have appeared after a couples of bolt ons (CAI, borla, gutted cat) and the guy at the transmission shop says it's bc the engine has more horspower and is retarding the shift point making the engine hit the limiter. Is this true?
