Re: tranny dipstic tube

i am guessing you mean the dip stick by "this" if so you are going have to lower the trans back down (take the cross member back off) to get it back on. but try to put it back before you crop the tranny down again.

It goes in the top of the tranny near the front right corner (passangers side).

Mine had a bracket that had to be bolted on with one of the trans bolts, so you might have to take that bolt out put the bracket in place then bolt it back on.

BTW their is a rubber gorget that alos goes into the hole in the trans make sure it is either ont the dip stick or still in the trans.

I might start being a PITA but dont half do it, i did and ended up having to pay for someone to fix it.

Re: tranny dipstic tube

Its not a hard job. It is in the right front corner of the trans. and is held in by a bracket and one bolt. I slipped the rubber seal in the hole first and then the dipstick slid right in after that.
