Re: Traction Control

unless someone removed the switch....

any car equiped with traction control has a way to turn it off.

why do you think you have it? when you do a burn out does it kick the gas pedal back at you?

if all its doing is showing a dash light or "low trac" or something...that's normal...doesn't mean traction control.

Re: Traction Control

Easiest way to figure out if you have it is to see if you have that huge ugly black box on your driver side valve cover. If you dont have it, then you dont have traction control. And if your car had traction at one point and the previous owner removed it, then your computer would be showing trac off and your abs inop light should also be on because you have OBD-II and you cant just remove the traction control motor and program it out of yoru comp. There is alot of other stuff involved in succesfully removing traction control and retaining your cruise and ABS on an OBD-II car.
