Torque Specs on Pressure Plate

Ok, for some reason on the write up I am following it said to torque the Pressure plate bolts to 25 ft lbs. I looked in the Haynes (after I stabbed and bolted up the tranny, and it said 15 ft lbs. Will it hurt to have the pressure plate at 25 ft lbs?? Or should I take the tranny out again and loosen them, then torque them to 15 ft lbs????

Re: Torque Specs on Pressure Plate

Ive always torqued mine to 22 ft/lbs. Ive done it quite a few times on several cars.
