I get 25 mpg on the highway, and I have a Vig 3600. Dunno what the original mpg was. The car had the 383 installed about a week after it was purchased new in 1995...

I want a 3000rpm stall, but don't want to mess with the OBD1 high stall issuse. Has this issuse been solved? It seems that I still get mixed reviews. If all else I will just get a PI 2800rpm.
Has this issue been solved?

A 3000 stall is not a "high stall". I have factory OBD1 and never had one shift problem.

just because there are bigger stalls doesnt mean that 3000 isnt high, its plenty higher than stock.
