torque converter..bad?

torque converter..bad?

i heard that a tc is very hard on an automatic transmission.and that it can blow it out faster..is that true....???

No.....stop listening to highschool students who have no experience with the things they claim to know everything about. An aftermarket stall convertor is the absolute best mod you can buy for an automatic equiped car, even if the car is otherwise completely stock. With a midsize convertor gains of over a half second off quater mile times are typical.

the only way i can think a TC would hurt your trans is if you dont get a cooler.


harder launches might hurt your DT but who cares.

Yea it can be bad....if bad = getting a SITP difference and getting faster
