Torque Converter
So, my mechanic suggested I put in a 2025 Stall TC, which I'm okay with because I'm trying to keep the tranny temp fluid down. Another quick thing, my car is going to be my DD and I may (one day) goto the track to get a 1/4 time, but it isn't going to be close to a "track car". I was just curious what the stock stall was on a 1994 z28?

When you hold the brake down and press the gas, the tires will start spinning at around 1800-2000 rpm's. I dont know what other mods you have or going to have done. But a good Vigalante or Yank TQ with a stall of about 3200 and a tranny cooler and you should be fine. Just make sure you get one with a lock up
What the best stall for a bolt on LT1? I thought at the RPM when the torque curve began to level off is what stall you were supposed to get. So for a stock LT1 would put that at about 2400RPMs?
I went out to my mechanic today to see the progress and he's still no done, but I did see the type of TC the speedshop gave him. Its a B&M Tork Master Stall 2000 RPM. Is this TC okay for street use on a bolt on LT1
hmmm, maybe I can talk to him then, about a little bigger
what would be good? 2400 - 2800?
But overall, this TC won't crap out on me, like not a "bad" TC? Just has a low stall, that's it?

Best track performance for an NA car is seen with a stall speed somewhere near peak torque. Maybe a bit higher. Most people would find this intolerable on the street though and it would generate a huge amount of heat. My own preference would be a lower rear gear and a tight converter.
