torque converter???

Should I stay stock? Whats recommended?

It depends on your level of mods and what your ultimate golas are. Most people with stock or mildly modified cars get something in the 2800-3200 rpm range. People with more heavily modded cars or all out drag racers get much higher than that.. like 4500 and such. There are other specs too. Like STR and how much you want to spend around $300 or so for something like a TCI or B&M or up to $750 for a Vigilante.
