LOCK UP & NON-LOCK UP

What's the difference between lock up and non-lock up torque converters. And which is better for a daily driver / weekend warrior CAMARO..........................

Not exactly sure enough to give you a good answer on the difference between the two. But I do know that a lockup is definately the better choice for what you want it for. I think when the converter locks up it no longer allows slipping at all and your getting the complete full torque load from the engine, don't quote me on that though.
