Ticking Noise comming from Rear End!!

ok well a few months ago, i side swiped my car, it bent the axel, and messed the rim and brake pads and rotor up..replaced rim, replaced axel and brake and rotor...now i replaced the axel on the passenger side about 1-2 weeks ago and now since yesterday it started to make a CLICK or TICK noise comming from the rear end diff....what could be the problem?
any clues please help FAST as my car is being worked on NOW!!!
thanks

ok well put my hand on the rear diff, and i can feel a tick through it, like its hitting inside there or something?
you think the bolt that you undo to take out the long PIN to realease the axel came loose and is tapping agaisnt the rear end? or do you think i need to add some additive in the car? cause i put castrol rear end fluid in it!!

hmmmmm. well that ticking noise is most likey your posi chattering and yes additive would help. always add additive when servicing your rear, also read the bottles cause some are not to be used with a posi.

you think it could be the BOLT that holds in teh PIN? maybe it came loose? well i bought some kind of castrol and put it in, but i never put in additive...so im guessing add addivtive and see if that works? if not then it could be the bolt huh?

It possible, i hate that bolt, im always affraid of breaking it so i never tighten it that hard, i just use lots of locktight.

my bad, i read your secound post, if you can actually feel the ticking and its in a consitstant spot when you rotate its possible that the screw came out and the pin that holds the axles in is on its way, I would pull that cover off and check immedatily, last thing you want is to see isyour axle/ tire beating you around the corner.
