Thumbs up for CPT

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am VERY happy with my CPT trans. ( www.cahallperformancetransmissions.com )

Frank was very helpful every step of the way - even after I installed it he called to make sure everything went OK. When he disected my transmission before the rebuild process, he told me what was wrong and why.

Went with the Race rebuild, 4l65E front internal support, upgraded steel piston, and a 3200 10.5" Pro Torque lockup converter.

I got the tranny in yesterday in just under 2.5hours, system took ~11 quarts. Shifts very crisp and firm, and launches like a freakin animal!

IMO Frank does awesome work, and his customer service is unbeatable. I'm very confident with this transmission.

So what was the damage to your wallet? If you don,t mind me asking?
In my case its the cost of beefing up the 60E that makes me go A3, that and alot of people doing poor rebuilds apparently.
Let us know how it holds up.

Race rebuild was 1000, plus 275 for the options I got, plus about $80-100 in hardparts (including the tailhousing that UPS cracked), plus the converter and shipping.

All in all, it was definitely worth the wait + shipping charges considering the peace of mind knowing that I got quality service from a standup guy.

I got the exact same setup as you converter and all and I too have nothing but amazing things to say about Frank and CPT, I am very happy and the trans has performed flawlessly all summer.

Update: over 500 miles on the tranny so far, and no problems. That includes many WOT runs + spraying a few times.
