Throwout bearing questions

The throwout bearing apparently just went out after 1200 miles of easy driving on my cheap O'reilly clutch. My questions are, are all throwout bearings the same? as in a product of valeo like the pressure plate?

I havent dropped the transmission yet and Im trying to figure why it would go out so quick? What are the usual causes? Possible install mistakes that I could have made?(cant think of any aside from swiveling the transmission slightly to get the input shaft in) Basically when I went to exit the freeway and pressed in the clutch pedal it grinded and starting schreeching. Im figuring it broke or popped through the pressure plate teeth.

This is my 4th clutch problem in a year in a half(1 stock, 2 poorly manufactured mcleods, and now this one) on a basically stock daily driven car. Im thinking of buying a SPEC stage 4 clutch and just live with the poor driveability, Although I dont think it would have helped in this case.

Any help on any of these questions would be greatly appreciated
