are these the right parts for 3.73 ?
Just wondering before ordering if these parts are the right ones for changing my rear end gears ? :
1) Gear, Ring and Pinion, 3.73:1 Ratio, GM, 7.5 in./7.625 in., 3 Series, Set (at summit ref :SAG-G75373)
and also do i need these parts too to complete the install as i've seen i might use shims to properly put the gears in place
2) Ratech Complete Ring and Pinion Installation Kits
Ring and Pinion Installation Kit, Fits GM, 7.5 in./ 7.625 in., Differential, Kit
(ref SUMMIT : RAT-308TK)

What gears are in your car now? If they are 2.73's you are going to need a kit for the 2 series carrier. If you have 3.23's then you look good to go.
Also I would check with some of our sponsors for a complete gear setup. I bought mine through Thunder Racing. And it was complete. Don't forget the Posi additive too.

Thnaks Doug. I have 3.23, my car is an A4.
I'm opened to any supported vendors as far as they can send their products overseas to my little country, with a DHL or FEDEX shipping. In fact, i would love knowing some more. I will have to check with Thunder Racing

Ahh..gotcha...I never look at the location. My fault. So Summit may be your only choice to have the parts shipped by.
Now back to the 3.23 gears what you listed will work perfectly for your application. Don't forget to reprogram the PCM for the new ratio too. At 70mph I "THINK" you will be turning around 2300rpm or 2500rpm....Not sure though. THere is a calculator for that. But the car will be fun for you. Good luck!
