Is there a 9" ford kit and how much to build one?

Is there somewhere that sells kits for someone that want to build there own rear? Its for a 94 Z28.

I have a guy in town that built a 9" for his 84 Z and said he could build me a housing for $500. Whats amazing is he's only 18 but his work is impressive. He's been welding and fabricating since he was 12 and learned everything from his father who raced and built NHRA cars.

Thanks
Travis

I found it on moser's site. Thats also without a torqe arm mount. Plus i wouldn't have to pay for shipping if i had it built local.

Check this place out they have 9" rear housings either made from mild steel or chromoly: www.cachassisworks.com

I have a chromoly unite and one thing to consider if your building a Ford 9" your self or someone else doing it you will have the ability to make the rear center section of the housing centered in the rear of the car as compared to a regular aftermarket Ford 9" that are offset.

Mine was custome built centered in the car:

That place is about a mile down the road from where I work. All they are doing is buying the housings from Moser or Curie and setting them up. Then they mark them up and resell them.
