th400 fluid fill ?

th400 fluid fill ?

i have a th400 with a derale 1qt extra deep pan and a 10" t/c how many quarts does the th400 take if its completely empty.

wow this is amazing no one can help me out on a simple capacity question for a th400 with a 10'€ t/c

I would keep checking it while I filled it then just use what I need

yeah i figured i would have to do so just wanted to purchase the correct amount needed so that i wouldnt overbuy and or have to buy more fluid at time of start up.

Depending on the convertor and pan anywhere from 8 to 12.

With the TH400 and using the deep pan, fill to the add mark. TH400's do not like being overfilled, even slightly.

the correct answer for my setup was almost 11qts.
