im about to buy a trans and it has a full manuel reverse shift pattern valve body. could someone help me out and let me know what is the difference between a reverse and a forward shift pattern. the trans is going in a street/strip car but mostly street. i want to know if ill be able to still drive w/o shifting
Re: Th350
A reverse valve body is just that, you pull 1st, 2nd, 3rd not Drive, 2nd, 1st.
That's the least of your troubles.
Full manual means just that, it retains no automatic functions what so ever. You shift every gear, every time, up and down.
Additionally, a trans like this should have full line pressure all the time, no vacuum modulator. It's going to run hot. It's made for racing, racing only.
If your street squirling I'd find another trans.
