I am sure this has been beat to death. Whats needed to swap out a 4L60E or a 4L60 in a 93 to 95 LT1 car and replace it with a TH350?

 

Move the torque arm off the trans,new shifter ,modify crossmember,vss translator for speedo and idle quality,either get a 9inch tailshaft 350 or get lengthened driveshaft.Have existing trans program removed from pcm.New dipstick tube, kickdown cable.Hope this helps!

 

Where would one get this vss translator? TIA

sen-o1-1 is the part# they refer to it as a pulse generator, it retails for $25.00

Thanks,yeah its easy to install it screws into the t-350 speedo output and splices into the original harness that connected to your 4l60e tailshaft

 

Is that going to be a problem when i have my pcm converted from auto to manual? Or will i not get codes thrown if i leave it as a4?

 

I dont think so as I had my tranny program deleted from my pcm
