I had my tranny rebuilt 6 months ago. I've had a strange problem while accellerating HARD from a stop which i don't do too often at all.. (i usually accell hard from a roll).
When i floor the car from a stop, the car rev's up real quick but its like it has no power.. even near the redline... the cars moving but its moving like its at 75% throttle.. yet the RPM's are flying up like mad. I'm not too familiar with Auto transmissions and TC's.. but could the TC be not locking up or something? Also when i do floor it like that, when it shifts to 2nd... it shifts HARD and the tires spin very nicely into 2nd.. and 2nd up it pulls hard like it should. This only seems to happen in first... Any ideas?
