tail shaft on upside down...help

tail shaft on upside down...help

the tail shaft on this rebuilt transmission is on upside down. can i take the bolts out and spin it? making sure that it stays flush with the transmission while spinning?

it just comes right off, one o ring where it joins

if I remember correctly
