T56 whining

I just bought a 95 z28, with a t56 only problems it has are reverse will pop out of gear, and the trans whines when you lift the throttle and coast. It stops whining when you either give it throttle or disengage the clutch.

I know reverse needs new syncros, but I dont know about the whining, all whining threads i have read have to do with it whining while accelerating.

What kind and how much fluid does the thing hold. Trans has 110,000 on it too.

Thanks
Kevin

typical t56, its usually because you are in either 1st 2nd or 3rd, because you have some RPMS built up do to the lowness of the gear.just shift to 4th for a quieter ride..tranny holds 3 qts. of any Dexron 3 Tranny Fluid

I forgot to add this but it does it mainly in 4-6th, i really dont know bout 1-3rd because of the exhaust being louder.

Could it be the fluid being low?
