t56 noise issue

when i let out on my clutch lightly (backing out of a driveway or going over a speedbump) and i can't release the pedal all the way because i'm trying to go slow, right at the point of engagement there is a low squeak or whine coming from the transmission.

once i put the clutch to the floor or let it out completely, the sound goes away. if i am at a stop light and go, because i can engage the clutch so quickly and not feather or slip it, there is no noise. no noise in any gears except first or reverse going from a stop and slowly letting off the clutch.

the clutch is a spec 2...had it nearly 25k miles. been good, still shifts hard like the day i bought it, so i don't see how it could be going bad. i've heard everything from a t/o bearing to the pilot bearing to a bad left speaker (just kidding), but really nothing concrete yet. i don't want to take the tranny out without knowing for sure what i probably need to fix. any help is much appreciated! thanks.

I have the exact same problem, ive been told my flywheel might be out of balance, there may be rust on the flywheel, throw out bearing, and bad motor mount

i get a squeak when the clutch is engaged, when taking off, and when downshifting sometimes. Also vibrates alittle when taking off from a dead stop

please let me know when you figure out whats wrong
