So I just purchased a t56 for a fairly good price off an ls1 with around 10k miles. Will it bolt to my lt1 or are my worst fears realized and it has a diff bellhousing and input shaft? If it won't, what would be the cost to swap these parts?? Would I be better off to just sell the tranny and buy one off an lt1?

Any input would be GREATLY appreciated!

 

you must replace the front cover and input shaft. I could probably get both for you for about $400. email me iif you are interested, and ill get you an exact price

 

If you could price the parts and give the part #'s I would greatly appreciate it. I'm still trying to decide on what I'm going to do, but that would definitely help.
