Working on a friends 2002 Trans am with 6 speed. It tends to grind when shifting mostly in the 2-3 shift -but only if being gentle. If you are firm with shifter and making the syncro work a little it does fine. If you are easy, it will grind... Is this common with wearing syncros or is this more likely something dragging clutch or input shaft? Doesnt seem to have any drag or issue at a stop. Opinions or experience? Thanks
