T-56 rebuild kit

My transmission is growlling in neutral, and i can't get into second gear without ramming it hard, so i don't.

I'm thinking about having the transmission rebuilt by a transmission specialist, but would like to get the parts myself.

Is there a master kit out there with bearings, synchros and seals that i could purchase??

Personally I would take the trans in and have it looked at before buying parts. I was going to do the same as you and get a full rebuild kit for mine but instead I decided to wait and see what actually needed replacing. In the end the trans was in great shape, syncros, bearings and everything looked almost brand new. I ended up only having to get 3rd gear, 3-4 syncro assembly and steel 3-4 fork, since it was popping out of 3rd and all the 3rd gear parts looked perfect I figured I might aswell replace all of 3rd.

BTW, there is a seller on ebay that sells T56 parts pretty cheap, nice guy and fast shipping, that's where I got my parts. Good luck.

That's what i'm thinking, i'm just looking around right now so i'm ready to buy if i need to.

I got the car used, and it pops out of gear and has always been iffy here and there, so i figured i might as well prepare for the worst
