t-56 help

anyone know the differences beteen a 93' lt-1 t-56 compared to a 94 and up t-56?i know mine is a borg warner and it has a 2.97 1st,is that it?i recently blew my 4th gear out at the track (i think it's my shift fork)but if i'm going to rebuild it,im gonna do it right and upgrade it!

does anyone know a good builder also?

The gear ratio from the 93 is all by itself . The 94-02 had the same gear ratio .

The only gear the 93 and 94-97 share is 4th, which is 1:1. Your sixth is 0.62:1. Also, the 93 T56 does not have CAGS.

For rebuilds you can check D & D Performance (http://www.ddperformance.com) or Six Speeds Inc (http://0174de9.netsolstores.com). I got my tranny from Six Speeds Inc for my swap, and I was very pleased with the condition, just had a problem with the DHL shipping.

As stated, only the gear ratios and the lack of CAGS. Other than that, I don't think anything else was changed.
