Swapping 12bolt fluid from dino to Redline Heavy Shockproof???

I want to swap over to redline heavy shockproof gear oil in my Trans Am's 12 bolt. Anyone else running this in their 12 bolt that could shed some light on whether this could be beneficial in anyway or harmful in anyway? The car is still street driven and has a spool.

Waste of time and $$$ IMO. Ever seen a lube related rear end problem? I haven't in nearly 50y of messing with cars. But I guess it wouldn't hurt anything.

thanks for the reply Rich,

my car is an M6 with n2o and 4.10's. The 4.10's have some whine, and I was hoping the heavy shockproof might lessen the whine and help cushion the teeth more on a nitrous launch.
