Another vote for the weld-on type.
Over time, the holes drilled for the bolt-on style will enlarge and allow some play between the SFC's and the actual subframe.

the very purpose of the SFC is to stiffen the chassis.

on that note, why would you want a set that has an obvious point of flex?

Don't even think of bolt on SFCs unless you are going to weld them in at the time of installation. Otherwise don't waste your money / time on bolt in SFCs.
Welded on SFCs are the best improvement you can make to tighten up any Camaro/Firebird any model or engine option.

going on with this post, would you recommend the single bar type or the triangle shaped ones? Is there that much of a difference?

Weld in. If these cars were super rare i would probably say bolt in but on these cars it doesn't matter. Maybe a LT4 SS or something bolt in would be the way to go.
