street twin

I have has a street twin clutch for about 2 years now and since installing it it chaters. So much that i have altered my driving to minimize the chatering. Im in the process of fixing the car up and am considering takeing the ST out and replacing it with something that doesn't make me feel like im driving a semi. Anyone else have this problem with their ST??? What do your think???

Re: street twin

My ST doesn't chatter either. I know theres a lot of setup to a ST and if your flywheel/disk/center section gap isn't right or any of the shims around the pressure plate aren't set up right, your asking for trouble. Like OBE said, contact Mcleod tech support. Those dudes know their stuff.

Re: street twin

I don't have any chatter or problems with my ST either. It chattered the first 500 miles during break in. After break in I drove the car hard and worked the clutch harder and it never chattered since.
