Anyone recieved a new S60 in the past few weeks? If so, how long did it take for you to get it. I have had one on order for a while and I was curious if anyone else was having delays in getting theirs. Thanks

Justin, Who did you order from? I hate to say it but I may have been ripped off by one of our vendors. Custom SSI has been blaming Strange for the delays (almost 7 weeks). So I call Strange today and they do not have anything on order for me. Josh from Custom SSI said he had spoke with strange last week and it would ship out last Thursday and now Strange says they have no record of my order. So much for trusting the vendors.

 

Wow thats shady if it's true. I almost went with them for my rear. Thats not going to do their reputation any favors thats for sure.

I wouldn't jump the gun yet. Strange is a busy place, who knows how Josh put the orders in. I can tell you we weren't the only ones that ordered through Custom SSI, if anything happens I'll be at the head of the angry mob. However, I have no reason to believe Josh is trying anything shady yet. He's not hiding from us and has answered any questions I've asked of him, so put your pitchfork away for now.

 

I hope this is a misunderstanding. Josh seems like a good guy and I never would have posted anything, but after many messages sent with no reply. Then strange saying what they did I had no choice but think I have been ripped off. If it turns out to be a mix up Iwill post what happened and delete this thread..

 

I ordered from Tybrne in Jan, and got mine the last week in Feb. I was sweating bullets with them going under as well, but strange has been great keeping me happy with my dana. I have 400 miles on it now. only howl is at 50 mph, and its not even that bad. Im so damn happy with mine! But, it did take 6 weeks before I saw it. It is a long wait time, that is why I ordered back in Jan so I had all spring to get it in. Good luck fellas.

 

I ordered mine the 2nd week in March and got it April 11th. Pretty quick if you ask me. Although they did mess up a few things, didn't send a drive shaft and didn't send the Aluminum cover. But they sent both those out free shipping and I had them a few days later. Fast if you ask me.

 

I've had mine for about 8 months now and when I ordered mine it took 8 - 10 weeks from the time I paid for it until I recieved it and as I remember Strange was very busy building them. It took awhile as I recall, but I finally did get it and I love the fact that no matter what I put in front of it I don't have to wonder when the rear is going to blow.
