Strange rearend pricing and opinions

Well, some of you may remember that I broke my 10-bolt shortly after the install of my McLeoud ST. It's been a long wait, but I'm getting ready to order the Strange 12-bolt. The cheapest place I have found it is Tbyrne for $2429.99. Does anyone know of a cheaper place? I plan on getting the 4.11s in it. Also I noticed that is seems they now include the upgrade pieces in the price that you used to have to pay for. Is this true? Any info??

Re: Strange rearend pricing and opinions

Because Moser is deceiving in their pricing. If you look at it the Moser appears to be cheaper until you add it all up. Strange comes with all the upgrades included in the price....where the Moser is the base unit and you have to pay extra for all of the upgrades that are already included in the Strange package. Plus I am just a Strange fan for rears ....JMO.

Re: Strange rearend pricing and opinions

the Strange does come with most options now. I just got one and I added the super strength posi, but it came with the 33 spline axle and 1350 yoke and u-joint. If you want the support cover with the drain plug, that is extra. I got mine with the standard chrome cover to save $1xx right now, but will upgrade it later when I change the fluid. It will come unpainted as well, so if you want to paint it make sure you give yourself time to paint it a couple of days before you want to install it.
