4:11s

I have a 93 Formula with stock gears and I bought some 4:11s to put in it. When I go to install them someone told me to use the stock shim that cam off my old pinion and put it on the new one. Also replace all the rear end bearings and seals while I got it ripped down.

Chances are the stock shim will work for your pinion......I think that's what I've got on my 4.10 pinion and it worked.

As far as replacing seals/bearings, absolutely, no better time than when it's all apart (but they aren't exactly cheap either ). Oh yeah, and get a new crush sleeve (or put a solid one in)......the stock replacement type are cheap at least.
