I have read issues about noise at LS1tech.com, but haven't read anything from anyone here that has actually bought one yet.

So, how do you like it? How loud is it? Would you buy it again?

oh oh oh, piggy back! I am getting one this winter, and I have heard lots of bitching about noise too...

 

I can deal with noise...but not drown your stereo out like noise...I just want to know how bad it is.

 

Hey on the driveshaft, can I just hack saw the end of the yoke of the 1.625" to make it fit? Or do I need to take it to a machine shop?

 

Okay, I just bought the s60...so now is your cues to chime in and tell me horror stories.

 

Take it to a machine shop, it has to be balanced...

I've got one, actually the first one "test fitted" for an LTx car..Got the hook up' from Billingsley Racing

Its got some noise to it, but only at like 35-45mph, then its gone..Haven't had any problems with it, perfect pattern on the teeth, when we checked it, and the fluid was spotless(clean, no metal) after about a 1000-1500 miles on it..

 

Try any hard launches yet?

 

A few on the asphalt around here, but not at the track..Im not worried about it though,

Yeah, but I have heard reports the noise starts getting bad after the first couple hard launches.
