Are you looking for a rear with a steel spool? That's what you get for $1,927. If you want an Eaton posi, its an additional $551, plus another $116 if you want ABS.

If its a track car, the spool is fine. If its street driven, rethink your plans.

If you want one built right your looking at $2400 to $2600 without shipping(with all the goodies). Also I recomend getting them to weld on LCA Relo brackets before it's shipped to you if you want any. The bolt on are kinda tricky and in some cases don't fit at all. Some of the board vendors can offer you a decent deal on Strange. Also if it comes unpainted don't do like I did and not paint it before you put it in. Paint it up right, then install it. I'm going to have to take mine out this winter and get all the rust off of it then paint it like I should have done to start with.

The Eaton posi will meet your requirements. I run the Strange with HD Eaton posi and it hooks and books with 800HP. A buddy of mine took his Strange to over 900HP, before he decided to switch to a Moser 9-inch (ultimately had to handle 1,350HP). You do need the HP Eaton posi for anything over maybe 600HP. I think the HD has a 14-disc clutch pack, compared to a 9-disc pack in the standard Eaton. My friend burned up the 9-disk clutch pack at about 700HP.

I paid more than that 9 years ago, so it sounds like a good deal.
