stop the whining

Literally..........replaced the rearend gear and now when it's coasting it whines super loud. Not during acceleration just coasting.
Any thoughts cuz the owner is whining too...lol

Set pinion gear depth first (the more difficult part), then work on the ring gear backlash (6 to 9 thousands). Also, some of the performance gears will be slightly noisier than OEM factory gears. If you’re not confident with the gear setup, have a reputable shop do the work.
