The only real F'up I had was putting the clutch fork on properly. It cost me a slave cylinder (ruined the brand new one I bought), so take extra care when doing that. Get it right the first time.

Other than that: ENJOY!

It is hands down the neatest mod I did to my car!

Bahh... who needs a guide.... just wing it like i did. You'll figure it out. Did the swap last september and everything is still perfect. I'll tell you now though.... you'll love your car 100000000000X more once that M6 finds home. I can't imagine driving this thing with an auto anymore. Good luck

BTW... it took me about 11 hours from start to finish by myself. Should give you an idea of how long it'll take.

Does this mean you're selling the yank?

I called it a day yesterday after winning the mother of all battles with the torque arm. I have the interior stuff all out (seats, steering column, pedals, center console & shifter).

Update Day 2: Things went kinda slow today. Didn't get started until ~2pm. Finished the disassembly today, removing the 4L60 and flexplate and started on the pedal install.

Too much runnin around today + I dont seem to work on cars at the same pace I can write lines of code... Wife had to work today so I had to shuttle her around and go pick the kids up from school. Hopefully I can hit it hard and early tomorrow, because Sunday is shot being Easter and having company (I can hear it calling now.).
