stall comparison Edge vs Vig vs Pro Torque??

I am in the middle of deciding what stall converter to buy for my application,

1)CPT is building my Trans and they suggested a Pro Tourque converter, is anyone else using one? or does anyone know about them?

2) The Famous Vig

3) Edge was reffered to me by a Impalla ss friend of mine and he is quite happy saying that the car actually moves b4 the lock up speed and is now a few years old with no probs at all, That makes me feel good about edge because of the weight of his ride and the havoc it must reek on his drive
train.

does anone have any input or expirience with any of these 3 products??
all good and bad points are more than welcome!

Thanks!

theres a difference from stock but after a few days of driving it becomes pretty normal. If your worried i would go with a small stall this way its similar to stock till you get on it. It was one of the best mods i did to my car.

I've got a Vig 3200 and it is great. You will notice a difference in acceleration under the stall speed but it isnt that big of a difference. Like magicvega said you get used to it. Only problem I have with it is that in 4th it is starting to slip.

Happy Edge owner here
I love mine, which is a 3400 lockup. The price is much less than a vig also. Mine was about 530 shiped. Acceleration b4 lock up is good, it takes to about 1900-2000 leaving a stop light under normal driving and it accelerates well. Lock up is very solid also.

Vig owner since 1996 here. Absolutely the best mod I've made. 5 solid tenths and daily drivability. The Vig is a very efficient converter. Mine is a 3600 stall lock up style. I had it freshened last year after 8 years of driving/racing for $225. Vicki at Precision could not believe how old it was because of how good shape it was still in. I only freshened it because I had trans rebuilt...Highly highly recommend it.

vig. 3000rpm here. Bought it used and I've since put about 10k on it without a single problem. Very happy.
