Which Stall?

Ok so i read both sticky threads on TC's and have yet to decide which would be the best for me. I have a 95 Z stock motor except for nitrous, stock rear with 2.73's. I have had the PCM tuned by Bryan at pcmforless and have had the trans rebuilt. However i went out to test my new tune a few nights ago and blew third and fourth gear out of my trans again. So this time i am going to put a stall in. Which kind would be the best for me and locking or non locking? The car isnt a daily driver and rarely if ever will see highway. Mainly fri nite cruises and drag strip.

Re: Which Stall?

I'd got with a 3200 LOCKUP converter. Go with a Precision Industries (Vig), Fuddle Racing, Edge, or TCI. People seem to have good opnions about most of these companies. Vig seems to be the highest praised but also is the most expensive, about $700 or so. Fuddle is only $450 and everyone seems to love them as well.

Re: Which Stall?

I just called up Fuddle and told him what mods I had, what I was using the car for and he recommended what stall and str to get. They are very friendly at Fuddle and I would buy from them again.

I would say Yank and Fuddle. I also say go with a 3500. I'm going 4000 with a 2.5str.

Re: Which Stall?

you only have nitrous and you want a stall? It isnt gonna do that much for you w/o any other supporting mods. But i guess if the trans is out, might as well.

I vote Vigilante, got mine used after like 5,000 miles for $500, couldnt be happier. Plus they will restall it once for free i heard.

Re: Which Stall?

Speaking of restalls I hear Fuddle is great about that also.
