I just pulled out my SPEC stage V clutch after less that 2k miles of run time. The last 1500 of which have been at 6psi. I found cracks in the disc itself. I talked to SPEC on the phone and sent them pictures of the cracked disc.

I was very surprized to hear him tell me thats normal?!?! He's seen this many times and one has never come apart. I just dont understand how a cracked disc can be okay. Also said he would not warranty the disc.

Has anyone else seen this before? if so, whats the verdict?

 

Spec says that is normal
No frigging way.
