spec stage 3 is worn out at 30,000 miles
The disk is worn to the rivets and the pressure plate has some wear on it also. It was the 6 puck, carbon kevlar blend, and I thought it would last longer. What clutch does everyone recommend that has the same holding power or maybe a little stronger but might last a little longer?
I have searched plenty but would like a little more info. Can the pressure plate can be resurfaced and then I could just buy a stage 4 disk?
Any ideas?

Spec will reline the disk for around $150-$200 or so.
Yes the PP can be resurfaced. I have done this with good results.
With respect to wearing so fast, my guess is lots of dumping and aggresive driving. Also you may be riding the clutch or maybe incorrect break in.
Did you resurface the flywheel when you did the install?

Break in was the usual 500 miles and I'm real careful about not riding the clutch. Yes the flywheel was resurfaced when I installed it. Sure I'm aggressive with it from time to time but for the most part it is my daily driver and I drive fairly nice.
What milage are you guys getting out of a clutch like this?
Would a stage 4 last any longer or maybe a mcleod disk??
Any other disks that I could use with my old pressure plate?

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and got an lt-4 pressure plate with the Mcleod disk. Hopefully it will last a little longer and not be as harsh.
