spec Stage 3 ceramic install finished!! but have a question??

Like it says just put it in. its a stage 3 ceramic, for those of you guys that have them, did your clutch pedal feel any different? (I thought it would feel alot stiffer then it does) If it did how so??? mine feels like it did stock. I also updated my slave I was thinking that might have something to do with it. It has a lil bit of a shuttering but I'm guessing thats just part of the break in process. its also hooked up to a pretty new tranny only 4,000 thousand miles on it.

I did a search and didn't find anything like my question for those of you who are going to reply with that like always.

Thanks!

I'll have my Spec Stage 3 install finished this evening. I'll tell you my first impressions of it. From what i have heard from people that have the spec clutch, pedal feels just like stock and isn't harder at all. I'll have my own opinion on this later today.

well whatever clutch you put inthe pedal wont feel much diffrent becuase it is hydrolic, if we are talking about Mustangs, FORGET ABOUT IT, will brake your leg, haha. The first 500 miles of the clutch, it is VERY rough, it will get ALOT better. Its a GREAT clutch.

When I installed my SPEC stage 3 ceramic it was a hell of alot lighter pedal than my centerforce if it helps any. Heck...I actually thought something was wrong.....till I engaged it hehe.

Finished the install, went to press the clutch in...SNAP...jack up the car...the actuator cylinder (part that presses in the clutch fork) snapped. Not sure why it broke, but i'm guessing i didn't install the fork in all the way and the fork slipped off. I'll comment tomorrow after i install a new actuator cylinder.

Anybody know how to bleed the hydraulic line system?

All you do is take the lid off so air can escape and push the slave cylinder in and let out....rinse and repeat.

The pedal feels A LOT softer than it did with the centerforce dual friction...The clutch itself is really rough...kinda like an on/off switch... i hear it gets smoother after the break in miles...

we will have to compare notes after there both broke all the way in.
