Sorry I don't know what a stall is?

I have z28 and plan on installing a nitrous camshaft, but I have no idea what they are talking about when they say a 2500 or 3000 stall is recommened. By the way I have a 6 speed if this matters at all. Thanks for any help.

Stall is a function of an automatic transmission's torque converter. It's the rpm where the torque converter fully engages. This doesn't apply to your manual tranny.

stall RPM is the fastest rpm the converter can spin without turning the transmission's input shaft. this is where they make their greatest torque multiplication also. hence the name: torque converter
