sonnax sure cure kit

I just bought the sonnax sure cure kit for my 4L60 (not electronic) and it said I needed a valve reamer. Does anyone know if I can get by without reaming anything? Thanks.

I "think" you can just use a piece of sand paper (very very fine) to smooth any edges that may have formed that could catch the valve (on the inside of the valve passage). but it shouldnt really be necasary. didnt it say you "might" need a reamer?

It said I needed one, but I thought I might be able to get away without one.
