Is something like this possible? (700R4 question)

Could a transmission be slipping in a way you couldn't tell?
I know the slipping when you push the gas pedal and the rpms will jump but you're not going anywhere... but could the car be moving without the rpm jump and the tranny is still slipping?

How about this....

Could a transmission NOT be slipping on the dyno, but slip on the road? (once more load is put on it?)

you will usually have this, just most people dont notice until the trans goes out completely. or they think it will fix itself. with my i would notice a little performance change and would hit the rev limit and in the next couple weeks to a month it went out.
